Layering: instructions for use for perfect skin

There is a beauty ritual known as cosmetic layering or millefeuille that can effectively repair your imperfections and reveal the radiance of your skin. No need to run to the local bakery, you won't find it. You can cook this millefeuille yourself, not in your kitchen, but in your bathroom. To better understand, here is the millefeuille in 4 questions.

What is layering?

Layering is a technique that consists of deep cleansing the epidermis and enhancing the complexion. This ritual translated by Millefeuille in Cosmetics arrived in France thanks to Sonia (from the famous blog Les Chroniques de Sonia). She imported and developed the concept of "layering", or Double Japanese cleaning, long used in Asia, in Japan in particular.

Layering means "overlaying several layers" (hence the comparison with baking) because this technique involves several steps. The blogger insists on the fact that none should be skipped, at the risk of not obtaining good results, or even no results at all (The metaphor is clear: as for the millefeuille, if you remove layers, you do not gets more a millefeuille).

This method also teaches us to get rid of our (bad) habits: for example, we do not remove makeup with make-up removing lotions, but with oil (yes, yes!), And we do not do it with cotton , but with his fingers (we can still make a link with the culinary art, but we will stop there).

How to do a layering: The 6 steps

Everything is in the steps! There are 6: you must follow them in order, morning and evening.

Step 1: Oil makeup remover

This step is to be done in the evening only.

Faces Care

You probably say to yourself, "Oil? And then what else ... I don't want to have skin as oily as French fries ", or" Why oil when my cleansing milk is very good ?! "Think again ... There is nothing better than a fatty body to remove all the impurities. The oil removes everything - unlike milk or other makeup removers - from waterproof mascara to ultra-resistant eyeshadows, "super-hold" foundations, blushes, etc. The cleansing oil also removes impurities. In short, there is nothing more effective than oil for this first step of the millefeuille. So even if you don’t wear makeup, that’s no excuse not to do it. You can also take the opportunity to give yourself a facial massage to facilitate blood circulation. You will see, after the first use, you will not be able to do without it ...

Step 2: Foaming Soap / Cleanser

First step in the morning. Second evening stage

Skin-care

It is imperative to get rid of the fat from step 1 or the sebum secreted overnight. For this, we use a soap that will cleanse your skin. Obviously, don't do it with Marseille soap: the skin of the face is delicate. Use a natural soap, if possible cold saponified. You can also use cleansing foam or face gel.

Step 3: Tonic Lotion

Face Products

The third step of the layering is essential because the lotion will allow you to remove the limescale from the water deposited on your face (which could therefore dry it out). You can't see it, but the limestone nevertheless penetrates the skin (a little reminder in case you got lost along the way: the purpose of layering is to clean the face impeccably). You can also use an organic tonic treatment, a mist or mist (also known under the name of "pshitt").

Step 4: the face serum

Care

Why a serum? Because it protects the skin and preserves the benefits of the previous layering stages (a bit like pressing the “save” button on our computer). In addition, the serum helps repair skin imperfections: wrinkles, spots, dryness, dehydration, dilated pores ... You can also use two: one for the morning and one for the evening. People under 25 can do without this step and the next (that's good, at that age the wallet is fine too).

Also note that all organic beauty oils can be used as a serum. If you don't like the greasy side, add a drop of your oil to your day cream. At night, beauty oil alone is sufficient.

Step 5: The Eye Contour

Face Skin

The organic eye contour can be a cream, a gel or an oil. It is therefore necessary to use a specific organic care (for this special area) which will hydrate the skin, smooth it and make dark circles, puffiness and fine lines disappear. This facial care is to be applied by patting delicately around the eye. To be done on both sides of course, in the morning and in the evening.

Reminder: Young people under 25, abstain.

Step 6: Day or night cream

The final touch, the icing on the cake ... In short, the final but not insignificant step! Once again, the organic day / night cream is to be chosen according to your skin type: Your face cream will tone, moisturize, firm, protect against external aggressions and give more radiance to your skin ... It is preferable to use a cream for the day and another for the night to activate nighttime cell regeneration (unless you are under 30 years old, only one cream is enough).

layering, a miracle beauty ritual?

Of course otherwise we wouldn't take the time to tell you about it! This method is effective and satisfactory provided it is followed regularly and carefully. Here are excerpts from customer reviews:

"my complexion appears brighter and clearer"

"It is true that everyone compliments me on my" good complexion "as they say in the South West!"

"The millefeuille is really bullet, bullet, bullet !!! My skin is as soft as that of my 3-year-old son".

Young women with acne have experienced marked improvement in their problems with layering. The proof below.

Above are the photos of Camille, 23 years old. Camille suffered from severe acne breakouts in 2012. In a few months of layering practice and thanks to gentle organic or natural products corresponding to her skin, her complexion no longer presents any imperfections (photo on the right 2013). In the second photo, Camille is made up on the eyes and on the wings of the nose. His complexion is not made up.
