Step 1 : Prepare your skin

Before applying makeup to your skin, it is important to prepare it well. This not only allows makeup to last as long as possible, but also ensures that no side effects compromise the performance of the mineral foundation.

What side effects?

If you have areas of dryness, wrinkles and fine lines, apply an organic moisturizer or organic face oil. Choose rich textures if you have dry skin and avoid mattifying formulas. Wait at least 5 minutes before applying makeup.

If you have oily skin, there's nothing like a mattifying primer to limit sebum production and avoid areas of shine.

If you have large pores, choose a smoothing primer that refines the skin texture without clogging the pores.

Step 2 : Correct dark circles and imperfections

Although optional, this step provides an even base before applying the mineral foundation and is recommended if you have dark circles, blemishes and visible redness.

Apply a concealer on dark circles, imperfections and areas requiring more coverage.

If you're using a concealer to hide redness and blemishes, choose the same shade as your skin tone, like a foundation.

If you are using a concealer for dark circles, choose a shade lighter than your skin tone.

You can also play on the principle of complementary colors to obtain a perfect complexion : a green corrector neutralizes redness while a yellow/orange corrector is ideal for camouflaging the purplish appearance of dark circles.

Step 3 : Apply the foundation

Once the skin is prepared and any imperfections have been corrected, use ALIMA PURE's powder foundation brush or the kabuki brush from the same brand. The most important thing is to choose a dense brush.

Place a small amount of mineral foundation on the inside of the lid.

Turn the brush inside the lid to pick up the powder and crush the pigments.

Tap the edge of the lid to remove the excess.

Apply to the skin in circular movements from the inside of the face to the outside.

Repeat until you obtain the desired coverage.

Step 4 : Extend makeup hold

There is no need to powder ALIMA PURE's mineral foundation because it is already a foundation.

On the other hand, to prolong the hold of your makeup, do not hesitate to spray a natural setting mist or an organic tonic lotion just after applying the foundation. It also gives a boost !
